I must say, I'm surprised by what I read, pleasantly surprised that is. To be honest I had no idea what I was going to see from the Judge. I was way off in my self assessment of my performance however.
It just goes to show you that what you are hearing and what others are hearing are two completely different things. This is at least true for me and my current playing ability. I suspect in time as my playing and control improve, so will my confidence and at that time I will be able to be a part of the music instead of just playing from muscle memory and rote memorization.
In the comments area Micah has some suggestions and that is what every performer hopes to receive from the judge, this is why some people complete, to get honest feedback on how to improve.
The comment on the slow gracenote-strike combinations is due to my deliberate "opening up" of those embellishments, since it would appear that there is no problem with the execution of them, only the speed at which they are played I will now start to close them up and bring them up to speed.
The crossing noises from the bottom to top hand notes is something that popped up late in the practice of this tune, I know where they are happening and will continue to work on cleaning them up. The most common crossings come from D to E, and that is exactly where they were coming from in my performance.
So, without further delay, here is the "Adjudicator's Sheet" the first of many.
